Review
Gish is a classic game. The game combines the famous two-dimension layout that was the rule in the past with the best of today's technology. You can see your character changing its aspect and behavior according to the situation: Gish (our hero) is a ball of tar that runs and hits the walls, and sometimes destroys some elements of the environment.
Another improvement are the very well done enemies with full animations and expressions, making the game a great experience for experienced and novice gamers.
The game has great graphics as well as very good sound effects and very good background music; elements of high importance for a good gaming experience.
With an original design, you have to guide your character, a ball of tar, through the sewers underneath the forgotten city of Dross in search of your beloved Brea, who suddenly disappeared when a dark figure emerged from a hole. Of course you have to avoid all of the imaginable types of enemies, along with a wide range of levels to overcome. |
